Volunteer
We welcome all volunteers! You can contribute by coaching, being a fitness instructor, tutoring during after-school enrichment programming, and assisting with building and landscaping projects etc. We will find a way to accommodate your interests! If you are interested in volunteering at ADSL, please contact us! Tell us about who you are and about your interests. Volunteers are essential to keeping ADSL running smoothly.
Handyman - We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with building maintenance tasks such as window replacement, hanging doors, changing lightbulbs, hanging items on concrete walls and inspecting/tightening up gym equipment.
Coach - We need coaches for our basketball teams on Saturdays between 10am and 12pm. Our kids are eager to learn new skills, play the game, and look up to their coach as a mentor. If you are interested, please visit https://www.coachingcorps.org/ and register..
Tutor - We need tutors who are willing dedicate an afternoon (or two) each week, Monday-Thursday from 4-6 pm. We welcome anyone with an interest in helping our kids with homework, including high school and college tutors.
Enrichment - If you have a skill (anything from jumping rope, finance, dance, science, book club, etc.) and are looking to gain teaching experience (or just looking to volunteer), we are looking for people to dedicate one hour every week or every other week from 5-6pm.

Each donation to ADSL is crucial in order to continue programming, and to fund the participation of individuals in the community who require financial aid. Your contribution has a significant impact on the lives of each child we serve- offering them an opportunity to engage in sports and enrichment activities that would otherwise not be available to them.
